Post 229: night, worry, Buddha, architect, creativity, art, poem, South
by Carol Bass
ARCHITECT OF WORRY
sometimes the mind
deep in the night
designs skyscrapers of worry
reaching up into black heavens
being old we have learned now
to leave the drawing table
and stand back astonished
at our creativity of doom
the befriending of bedlam
and in dreams
we simply enjoy the show
before walking away
shaking our heads
laughing

Very good

Great imagery. I’m impressed that you can walk away laughing. Very evolved. Some of the dust of the darkness lingers in the nooks and crannies my waking.more often than not. But laughing does shake it out.
Well put!
Love this! Thank you, Carol.
